Abstract:
How can researchers in combustion science and processes respond to the future elimination of all hydrocarbon fuel combustion for energy production and transportation? Invited Speakers will focus on areas of combustion research which can address further pollution reductions during this transition. What are the promising basic and applied research for combustion of non-hydrocarbon fuels? What areas of fossil fuel use will have to remain for the next few decades which will need additional research.
